Event FAQs

What is the NFF?

The Naturally Fit Federation was started so that the athletes and promoters would have a place to compete in drug free competitions without all the restrictions and added cost other federations are charging. We do not charge promoters to hold a show and our annual membership fee is only $50 per year, 1/2 of most other federations. As a Naturally Fit Federation amateur or pro athlete you are able to compete when and where you would like. Also, the Naturally Fit Federation welcomes all amateurs and pros from any drug free federation to join our athletes on stage. If you can pass our test you can compete!

What is considered a banned substance?

Naturally Fit Federation (NFF) member athletes, both amateur and professional must undergo and pass a polygraph test at each NFF sanctioned contest in which he/she is to participate (unless a drug waiver form is presented). Urine test will be conducted on all NFF pro qualifying, over-all division winners and all professional division athletes earning a monetary win. The NFF has implemented strict qualifying standards for testing and retesting procedures regarding drug use and athlete participation based on the following criteria: All NFF member athletes must be completely free of illegal performance-enhancing drugs. The NFF bans the following substances and related compounds, their use constitutes grounds for dismissal from all NFF competitions and suspension from membership in the organization for 7 years.

Please see the BANNED SUBSTANCE LIST

Who is eligible to compete?

Open to all amateur and pro athletes who have a current NFF card. You may obtain one at Athlete Check-in Friday evening.

Are we required to be at the Athlete's check in?

Yes, all competitors are required to check-in between 6pm-9pm on Friday. You will be height/weight carded, and will be provided your competitor badge (needed to get back stage) and your competitor buttons.

Are coaches permitted backstage?

Competitors may have one coach/trainer back stage. Backstage pass may be purchased for coach/trainer online or at Athlete’s check-in. *no exceptions.  Be sure your coach is wearing badge to access backstage on Saturday.

How do I schedule a polygraph screening?

If you have completed a polygraph test within the past 90 days you do not need to retest.  You must provide written proof of polygraph test completion at check-in.   All competitors will be able to complete your polygraph test on Thursday or Friday,  at the Host Hotel. Please schedule as soon as possible.  Appointments times should be selected when registering. Fee: $60.00, CASH payable at time of appointment.

What are the required poses for my division?

Each participant will required to perform the mandatory and symmetry poses as required for their class.  The goal of the NFF is to provide each athlete with time on stage.  All athletes have worked hard to get to the stage and we want you to be seen!  Please see the JUDGING CRITERIA.
